Hello! I'm Chris Kaelin. I'm one of the day shift dispatchers for VA Police Service at Robley Rex VA Medical Center. I served in the Navy from 2001 to 2008 and deployed twice, aboard USS Constellation and USS Enterprise. I'm also a VA customer/patient, and I tell people--only half jokingly--that I enjoyed being a VA patient so much I came to work here! I do enjoy working for VA, I get to do my part to help brother and sister veterans, which include my father and both of my brothers in law. Outside of work I'm a member of Civil Air Patrol, where I serve as deputy commander of Group 12, Indiana Wing, and can also be found watching Star Trek reruns or baseball and football games. I live in Clarksville with my wife Katie, a proud wheelchair user who will race you (and win!) and will hopefully be joining the VA ranks herself soon; our dog Butterscotch, the friendliest Boxer-Pit mix on Earth; and our cat Alice, who is NOT friendly but still wants to be petted.
