Throughout the year our Agency has attempted to bypass the Union by initiating several actions across without Union notification or involvement. Without notification we are unable to take action as we do not know what is happening, however our employees have been key in informing us so we may demand to bargain over implementation of some of these actions when appropriate. As many times as this happens, we want to remind our BUEs that, as members of the Union, you are a vital part of our local. Be involved, we encourage you to let us know of any changes that may come from your management. No matter if they claim the Union has been notified, don't take their word for granted as this is not always accurate. Call us, email us or send us a message, we want to ensure that any changes to your working conditions are within your rights, you are part of the team, you are an integral part of our Union and don't forget, we are all in this together!
