The VA Agrees to Settle on Recruitment/Retention Bonuses
On June 15, 2022, AFGE filed a national Grievance against the VA with allegations that the Agency failed to pay certain recruitment and/or retention bonuses to RNs. During this Settlement, the National Grievance has been withdrawn by the Union, and the Agency has agreed to pay RNs that have not received their bonuses.
